Is each week different? What will they do each week?

Each week of camp has different activities and guest speakers but the entrepreneur portion will build on the previous week in order to fully walk them through setting up a business model.  We’ve also sprinkled in some very fun activities and crafts that will reinforce math, science and reading concepts without them even realizing it.

What supplies do I need for each week?

A complete ingredients* / supply list will be provided in the classroom, accessible upon enrollment.

**Classes are designed with your convenience in mind.  Therefore, we focus on easy-to-find ingredients/supplies that you either already have one hand or are readily available at most supermarkets or superstores.

What is the time commitment?

In order for your sweetie to get the most out of camp she will need to participate for 3.5 hours per day in class, and maybe some time outside of class.  We have a feeling that this won’t be a problem.  Who doesn’t like baking and crafting.

How much parental guidance will be needed?

While many cooking skills can be taught through online instruction, parents/guardians are best to determine their child’s comfort and skill in the kitchen.  If you have any questions about whether your child’s skill level is appropriate for a particular class, don’t hesitate to reach out.  We’re here to help.

*Depend ing on the ingredients you choose to use in some of these recipes, a food processor might be needed to chop.  We will also be using the oven.  Parental supervision may be required for these portions of the classes.

*As you will be responsible for providing ingredients for this class, please be sure to check all food label ingredients for potential allergens.

Children under the age of eighteen must have their legal parent or guardian permission to start a business.

What external resources are needed to participate?

The live portion for the camp will be conducted on Zoom.  All links will be integrated into the portal.  Learners may need to use google for research, Kahoot for online games and canva to design, beyond the standard Portal tools. These are all FREE and won’t cost anything extra. Upon registration you will receive the log on credentials to our secure learning portal with a built in private social network just for the campers.
